He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Tice and June L. Tice (Guy); and his brother Jerry Tice. He is survived by: his stepmother Doris Tice of Gaylord, Michigan; and his sister Joie Lynn Woodard of Estero, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
