It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael E. Kuras of Gaylord, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kuras and Louise Kuras (Maslowski); his in-laws, Phillip and Alice Cryderman; and his daughter Kerri Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Cryderman; his children, Gary Irwin (Amy) of Gaylord, Chris Irwin (Holly) of Gaylord, Mary LaHaie (Tiffanie) of Gaylord, Jessica Kuras (Steve Zack) of Gaylord, Angie Griffore (Arthur) of Gaylord and Anita Irwin of Gaylord; his grandchildren, Austin Irwin (Alexis), Chase Hellner, Wyatt Irwin, Josie Welch, Madison Irwin, Benjamin Welch, Hunter Welch, Elly Kuras, Sawyer Irwin, Aiden Viviano, Gage Zack, Colton Griffore, Adalyn Griffore, Asher LaHaie and Callie LaHaie; his great grandchildren, Lennon Irwin and Alice Irwin; and his sisters, Rula Guyot (Larry) of Evart and Karen Peters of Vanderbilt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel's Cathedral (606 N Ohio Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735).
