He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Avery and Eathyl Leona Avery (Burke); his wife Lillian; and his son Kalvin. He is survived by: his children, Keith Avery (Sandy) of Ada, MI, Kreig Avery of Gaylord, MI, Kent Avery (Sally) of Gaylord, MI and Karen Avery of Gaylord, MI; and his grandchildren, Bryan Avery (Laura), Travis Avery, Jeremy Avery (Amanda), Lanette Avery, Krystal Donajkowski (Marty), Caitlin Simcek, Douglas Simcek, Trevor Prusakiewicz (Mackenzie) and Raeann Prusakiewicz (Jake Phillips). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
