She was predeceased by: her parents, James Byrnes and Elizabeth; her grandson Zachary; and her siblings, O'Brien, Patrick, Joan, Kathleen and Irene.
She is survived by: her husband Richard M. Diebold (Dick); her children, Rick Diebold (Jenny) of Ellsworth, Michigan, Michael Diebold (Vickie) of Potterville, Michigan, Mary McNamara (Kevin) of Osceola, Indiana, Cathy O'Connor (Terry) of Gaylord and Denise Hoots (Brian) of Clarkston, Michigan.; and her grandchildren, Rick, Karin, Benjamin, Veronica, Catherine, John, Matthew, Brittany, Caitlin, Colin, Conor, Sean, Shannon, Patrick, Alaina and Jenna. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marilyn's name can be made to Gaylord St. Mary Cathedral School or the New Life Pregnancy Resource Center in Gaylord.
