She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Parrish and Bertha Parrish; her husband Theodore Allen Gere; and her brother Thomas Parrish. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Grissinger (Glenn) of Shelby, NC, James B. Gere of Venice, FL and John Richard LaGere (Terri) of Cookeville, TN; her grandchildren, John Richard LaGere Jr. (Terra), Sarah Grissinger, David Gere (Andrea), Aaron LaGere and Ashley Eddings; her great grandchild John Richard LaGere III; and her pet Barbie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
