He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. McKenzie and Catherine McKenzie (Beaton); his wife Marie McKenzie (Becker); and his siblings, George, Larry McKenzie, Melvin "Sunny" Wedlake (Mag), Blanch London (Willie) and Florence "Flossie" Chrivia.
He is survived by: his foster brother Sunny; his children, Sherri Sapp (Kevin), Michelle Patrick, Kellee McKenzie, Jordan McKenzie, Dawn Davis, Jenny Hadrill and Brian Hadrill; his grandchildren, Josh Hendershott (Lisa), Hanna Patrick, Zachary Perry, Samuel Sapp, Emily Patrick, Sydney Sapp and Noah Farrar; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Dakota and Eldon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
