He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Franckowiak and Cecelia A. Franckowiak (Kucharek); his brothers, Leonard, Eugene "Whitey" and Conrad Franckowiak; and his sister-in-law Maggie Dowker.
He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Julie Franckowiak of Alma, Steven Franckowiak (Caroline) of Arlington Heights, IL and Thomas Franckowiak (Samantha) of Gaylord; his siblings, Loretta Smith of Elmira, Kathleen "Tina" Mazzella (Sil) of Gaylord and Michael Franckowiak (Lori) of San Antonio, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Anita Franckowiak of Iron Mountain and Blanche Franckowiak of Garden City. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
