He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Daust and John Earl Daust; and his siblings, Perry Daust and Lois Tembreull. He is survived by: his children, Mary McDaniel (Mark), Tim (Theresa), Michael (Lisa) and Kathleen Faron (Jason); his grandchildren, Kelly (Tomas), Jennifer (Todd), Michael, Victoria, Matthew, Max, Nathan, Olivia, Adam and Caylen; his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Logan; and his siblings, Pat Daust and Margaret McDonald.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Jim Daust Memorial Fund of the Otsego Community Foundation, supporting the Community Center and St. Mary Cathedral Schools.
