He was predeceased by: his father Gerald M. Swift; and his stepson Brad Lennox. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn A. Swift (Hamler) of Lovells; his wife Deborah; his stepchildren, Ken Carranza (Amanda) of Grand Rapids and Melissa Houtz of Coldwater; his siblings, Lincoln Swift of Muir, Patrick Znidaric (Anita) of Munich, Germany and Dawn Cail (Allen) of Chesapeake, VA; his sister-in-law Sandra Tyo (Bob) of Gaylord; his mother-in-law Sally Terwilliger of Houghton Lake; his aunt Helen Hamler (Roger Caris); and his nieces and nephews, River Swift, Emily Mooneyhan (Devin), Brian Cail (Casey), Tyler Cail and Vanny Znidaric. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
