He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Higley and Muriel Higley (Keech); his brother Junior Higley; and his daughter Zoey Beth Higley. He is survived by: his children, Lisa of Tennessee, Tara of Virginia, Nichole Sommer (Kyle) of Gaylord, Jeff (Anna) of Mount Pleasant and Haylee Higley of Gaylord. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Nelsons Funeral Home (135 N Center Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nelsons Cremation & Funeral Services (135 N Center Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735).
