He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael L. Nowak and Angeline H. Nowak (Kucharek); his wife Elaine; his brother-in-law Ronald Wilcox; and his brothers, Joe Nowak and Jerome Nowak.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Dipzinski (Matt), Jeff Nowak (Kelli), Jenny Dipzinski (Steve) and Betsy Hopp (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kathleen Barnard (Tim), Erica Raymond, Andy Basinski, Logan Brent, Luke Dipzinski, Grace Dipzinski and Teagan Hopp; and his siblings, Mary Wenzel (Dave), Antonia Dreyer (Steve), Casimer Nowak (Pam), Patricia Wilcox and Christopher Nowak (Robin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (606 N Ohio Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
