Frederick D. Abeel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick D. Abeel of Gaylord, Michigan, born in Sandusky, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Downs Abeel and Ruby Pearl Abeel (Hawkins); and his sister Gwyn Sontag. He is survived by: his wife Judy Abeel; his daughters, Angela Ely (Rick), Cheril Lin Abeel, Leslie Abeel (Delano) and Kim Coelho; his grandchildren, Kourtney Keilen (Ryan) and Michael Kowalsky; his great grandchildren, Klaire, Brady Keilen and Gianna Kowalsky; and his brother-in-law Terry Sontag.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (606 N Ohio Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Mary Cathedral School.
