She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Cherwinski and Julia Cherwinski (Strzynski); her husband Leo Walter Francis; her daughter-in-law Suzanne "Sue" Sides; and her grandson Benjamin Sides.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Sides, Doug Sides (Karen) and John (Janet Sides); her stepchildren, Douglas Francis (Colleen), Dennis Francis (Tracy), Laura Francis (Donald Sevenski) and Sharon Lucas; and her siblings, Carol Dahuski (Joe), Mike Cherwinski (Carolyn), Richard Cherwinski (Bev) and Andy Cherwinski (Wanda). She is also survived by three grandchildren; one great grandchild; ten step grandchildren; and ten step great grandchildren.
