She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert McDermott and Marie V. Groleau; her brothers, James, Robert and Michael; and her grandson Nathaniel Atchison.
She is survived by: her half-sister Gloria; her sister-in-law Maureen McDermott; and her nieces and nephews, Corinne Atchinson (David), James Perigard (Theresa), Marie Carter (Peter), Robert Perigard (Frances) and John Perigard (Julie). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; close to 20 grandchildren and about a dozen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service (850 N Center Ave, Gaylord, MI 49734). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (606 N Ohio Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735).
