He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Holborn and Patricia Holborn (Slater); his wife Karen Welsh; his sons, Jason, Timmy (Kristin) and Travis Holborn; his grandchildren, Andrew Denter (Tiana), Scott Taylor (Dana), Katelyn Caverson (Jesse), Jason, Tori, Hope Ann Holborn, Hunter and Haydon Elora Mench; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brayden and May; his brother William Holborn (Kay); his extended family, Neil Brasseur (Joy) of Vanderbilt, Fugi Hammond (Jenn) and Steve Mench (Shannon); his sister Christine Dutcher; and his grandparents, Charles, Ila Holborn, Ervin and Dorothy Slater. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
