He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Day and Gladys Day (Tink); and his siblings, Floyd, Forest, Bill, Carl, Vercil, Thomas, Marvin, Alice Olson, Helen Lucas, Marion Weisler and Laura Koons.
He is survived by: his children, Cecil E. Jr. Day (Sarah) of Johannesburg, MI, Sheryl Chandler (Kevin) of Cedar, MI, John Day of Gaylord and Lisa Laskey (Alan) of Cedar, MI; and his sister Lydia Sayers of Afton, MI. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Gaylord.
