She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth "Red" Utterback and Mildred Utterback (Breedlove). She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Chris Goosman (Belinda Ellsworth) of Pinckney, MI and Jamie Goosman of Gaylord, MI; her sister Lynda Sheets; her grandchildren, Olivia Goosman, Ayrlia Goosman, Tiffany Ellsworth and Aaron Ellsworth; and her friend Mary Weitzel. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (606 N Ohio Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735).
In lieu of flowers, Brenda was an avid animal lover and had many cats and dogs as pets throughout her life. She would appreciate a donation in her name to the Otsego County Animal Shelter (https://www.otsegocountymi.gov), the American Heart Association—Michigan (https://www.heart.org), or a charity of your choice.
