Alexander S. MacKowiak Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander S. MacKowiak of Gaylord, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mackowiak and Catherine Mackowiak (Kolany); his daughter Christine Kelly; his granddaughter Erin Lyn Kettlewell; and his son-in-law Jim Billman.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, David, Karen Billman, Julie Kettlewell (Allan), Jayne Mackowiak and Ellen Smith (Tom); his grandchildren, Rhiannon Baker (Adam), Jordan Kettlewell, Erica Kelly (Dustin), Mallory Kettlewell, Brady Billman, Alex Smith, Caitlin Smith, Dugan Kelly and Megan Mackowiak (Ryan Ashton); and his great grandchildren, Gavin Baker, Austin, Zeke, Isaac, Logan Kettlewell, Nathan, Ada Torres and Ivy Ashton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
