He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia McGinty; his parents, Gail Rosemond and Evan Tyrus McGinty; his sister Patricia Poston; his in-laws, Hoke and Julia Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Poston, Thomas Davis and Barbara Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Sean McGinty (Gayle) and Erin Dempsey (Robert); his sister-in-law Sandy Davis; his grandchildren, Matthew, Shannon, Julia and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Maeve, Marie, Nolan and Claire.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home (1139 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
