He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schultz and Amelia Schultz; his nephew Joe Swafford III; and his brother-in-law John Vandermark. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Paul (Michelle), Mark, John (Elizabeth) and Joy [Brian]; his grandchildren, Claire, Lucy, Jeanne and Felix; his siblings, Bill Schultz and Karen Swafford (Joe); his niece Christine Gold (Jim); his nephews, Jim and Michael Swafford (Shauna); and his sisters-in-law, Donna (Rick Hartsoe), Cinda and Judy Vandermark. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
