He is survived by: his spouse Marlan; his children, Richard Jr. (Val), Barbara Lindlbauer (Dave), Chris (Daniele), Jonathan Riley (Sébastien) and Rushie Bean (Steve); his grandchildren, Joshua Wludyka, Jeremy Lindlbauer (Lindsey), Lisa Gonzalez (David), Richard III (Jenna), Jesse Lindlbauer, Sarah Halewicz (Thomas), Noah Lindlbauer, Isaac Bean, Ella Bean and Sophia Wludyka; his great grandchildren, Maverick, Luca, Elliott, Wallace, Cooper, Jamie, Louis and Richard Thomas IV; and his sisters-in-law, Helen and Lois.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Paws with a Cause.
