It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Guenther Jr. of Garden City, Michigan, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin A. Guenther Sr. and Josephine Guenther Sr. (Borroso); his sister Genevieve Pasque; and his stepmother Elsie Guenther. He is survived by: his wife Janice Guenther; his children, Melvin Guenther III (Pamela), Melissa Farero (Daniel), Tiffany Lowe, Jeremy Tackett and Jamie Tackett; his grandchildren, Melvin, Madison, Michael, Carter, Hunter, Luke, Gavin, Pantera, Amelia and Riley; and his siblings, Kurt Guenther, Butch Halbert, Darrell Halbert and Rosary Emerick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
