With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Shumaker of Garden City, Michigan, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Walker; her husband William Shumaker; her mother Adelia Walker; and her siblings, Marjorie, Bertha, Martha, Samuel, Virginia and George.
She is survived by: her children, James Ray Shumaker (Ina), Norma Maxim (Bruce), Susan Shumaker and William "Bobby" Shumaker (Pauline); her grandchildren, Ben Maxim (Michelle), Katherine Maxim, Alyssa Shumaker, Alivia Shumaker and Alicyn Shumaker; and her great grandchildren, Isla Maxim, Emma Maxim and Thelma Sword. She is also survived by the youngest of seven siblings: four sisters and two brothers.
