He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Paone and Paula Paone; and his sister Mary Lou Paone. He is survived by: his close friend Judith Lotz; the mother of his children Mary Jane Paone; his children, Gary and Leigh Paone; his grandchildren, Joseph, Vincent and Alexandria Paone; and his nieces and nephews, Terry Garibaldi and Mary Bambridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Dearborn Symphony or the charity of the donor's choice.
