He was predeceased by: his nephew Andy Konkoly, Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Julia, Helen, Mary and Rose; his nephews, Joe Kastely and Jim Kastely (Joanna); his niece Rosemary Broses; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joan Broses, Lynette Gascoigne, Cathy Broses, Meredith Morgan (Jim), Marlene Konkoly, Jillian Kastely, Jack Broses (Christine) and Jaymes Kastely; his partner's sons, Ray DeCerchio, John DeCerchio (Mickey Guisewite) and Tom De Cerchio; and also, Jack DeCerchio, Mia DeCerchio and Dylan O'Connell-De Cerchio.
Al's family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Holy Cross Hungarian Catholic Church in Detroit which is undergoing major renovations.
