He is survived by: his fiancée Melissa Hillman; his children, Howard Lee Baker, Jr., Brian Chastian, Johnny Monroe, Joan Baker, Janet Baker, Casey Hillman, Ruthie Hillman and Sunshine Hillman; and his siblings, Allen Baker, Mark Black, Betty Gamble, Linda Day, Sandra Baker and Christine Russo. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
