He was predeceased by: his brother Kevin Shepard. He is survived by: his parents, Karen Shepard and Benton Shepard (Carol); his brother Johnnie Shepard; and his sister-in-law Sandra Shepard. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
