It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gus Wortinger of Galesburg, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Wortinger and Merna Wortinger (Strong); his wife Janice Sherman; his children, Barbara Gillespie (Michael) and Todd Wortinger (Ann); his grandchildren, Cole Nuyen (Amanda), Kyle Nuyen (Teia Bays), Scott Wortinger (Jessica) and Bill Wortinger (Kalie); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Kyle, Alora, Landon, Avery and Devon; and his brother Dennis Wortinger (Sinda).
