He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Vander Weele (Sue) of Terrace Park, OH, Daniel Vander Weele (Linda) of Kalamazoo, MI, Timothy Vander Weele (Jane) of Kalamazoo, MI and Susan Burrows (Craig) of Kalamazoo, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Salvation Army.
