He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Brigance and Edna Brigance (Hale); his daughter Sheryl VanBruggen; and his brothers, Charles, Melvin and Norman Brigance.
He is survived by: his wife Millie; his daughter Michelle Jackson (Steve); his grandchildren, Sarah Steeby (Justin), Rachelle Preston (Sam), Melissa Groetesema (Chad) and Travis Smith; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Chloe Czuk, Owen, Ava Steeby, Lucas Groetesema, Carter and Caleb Preston.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Galesburg United Methodist Church in memory of Raphael.
