He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Timmer and Gertrude Timmer (Kreling); and his brothers, Henry, David, Art and Adrian.
He is survived by: his wife Leona (Doornbos); his children, Cheryl Moerdyk (Bill), Leonard W. Timmer (Mindi), Timothy Timmer (Rachel), Thomas Timmer (Lisa), Lisa Wheeler (Jamie) and Michael Timmer; and his siblings, Nelson Timmer (Joan), Cora DeBat, Ardith Marie Polderman (John), William Timmer (Linda) and Gerald Timmer (Pauline). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Providence Christian School.
