He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth J. Hale and Beatrice L. Hale (Green); and his brothers, Tom, Ed and Kenneth Hale.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Sieting of Kalamazoo, Kenneth Hale (Monica) of Kalamazoo, Garry Hale, Sr. (Angela) of Kalamazoo, Jerry Boland of Kalamazoo and Opal Singh (Sandeep) of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
