She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrew Brohman and Ida Brohman (Raezler); her sister Donna; her husband Rod O'Brien; her son David; her friend Rod O'Brien; her children, Judie Eckert (Helm), Gary Eckert, Cheryl Sutcliffe (Helm), Scott Sutcliffe and Sandra Helm (Sommerfeld); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Brian, Lynne, Michelle, Rachel, Stephanie, Robert, Ashley, Drew, Sarah and Rebecca; and her stepchildren, Patrick, Mary O'Brien, Colleen, Robert Benjamin, Maureen, Kevin Devilin, Katie and Jeff Neverske.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Kalamazoo, Children's Miracle Network, or Dignity4Girls serving vulnerable women and girls in Kenya and Liberia.
