He was predeceased by: his parents, John Verschoof and Eva Verschoof (Collier); and his brother John R. Verschoof, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Ida Verschoof (Moerman); his children, Wade Verschoof and Dian Verschoof (Alan Kraft); his grandchildren, Katie Akers (Chad), Christopher Verschoof (Melissa), Elsye Hobson and John "Duie" Hobson; and his sister Evelyn "Evie" VanDyk.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Duane's memory may be directed to Kairos Dwelling or Second Reformed Church.
