She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Auch and Gertrude M. Auch (Poillion); and her husband Robert M. Howes. She is survived by: her children, Julie L. Howes of Galesburg and Robert J. Howes (Karen) of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Tara, Stephanie Howes, Justin and Jennifer McKeown; her sister Marilyn Kemmerling; and her sister-in-law Mary Gratz (Michael). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
