He was predeceased by : his father Thomas Sr.; and his nephew Matthew. He is survived by : his wife Cathy; his children, Shane and Shannon; his mother Barbara Klauss; and his siblings, Tim (Courtney), Judy (Jim), Blaine (Jackie), Phil and Jacob (Alicia).
