He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Howd and Dorothy Howd (Freeland); his former wife Marlene Howd (Bryan); and his siblings, Al Crowe, Jim Crowe and Joyce Pettey.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Joyce Howe; his children, Susan Negele (Brian) of Tennessee, Brent Howd (Donna) of Millington, Brett Howd of Swartz Creek and Lindsay Couch (Donnie) of California; his grandchildren, Shane Murphy, Chorissa Markee (Derrick), Mackenzi Howd, Skylor Cervantes (Donte), Ryley Couch and Mason Couch; his great grandchildren, Madalyn, Austin, Mason, Sophia, Amira, Mazikeen, Iris and Elix; his siblings, Jeanette Young, Howard "Butch" Howd (Penny) and Elizabeth "Dot" Freeman (Larry); and his sister-in-law Genevieve Crowe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
