John Kelsey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kelsey of Gaines, Michigan, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Kelsey and Pearl Kelsey (Lauderbaugh); his son-in-law Michael Davidge; and his nephew Steve Stiff. He is survived by: his wife Kay Kelsey (Mortimore); his children, Tiffeney Davidge and Shannon Kelsey (Cheri); his grandchildren, Jonathon Kelsey (Katie) and Heather Kelsey-Zumbrunnen (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Wesley Kelsey and Brody Kelsey; his great-nephew Bradley Stiff (Rebecca); and also Kathi Stiff. He is also survived by family members and friends.
