He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sledright and Alice Van Sledright; his wife Shirley DeHaan; his siblings, Ade, Peter, Rich, Elmer and Martha; his son-in-law Michael Sterkel; and his granddaughter Kelly Jean Van Sledright.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Quenzer (Lyle), Darryl Van Sledright (Gail), Sherwin Van Sledright (Ronda) and Malinda Van Sledright; his brother Ray Van Sledright (Lorraine); and his sisters-in-law, Flo Lanning, Ardie Van Sledright and Ruth Van Sledright. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
