He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Ferris and Deloris Ferris (Annibal); and his brother Craig Ferris. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Frazier; his children, Dale Ferris and Melinda Pope (Gary); his grandchildren, Gary Pope III (Amanda), Tim Pope (Katie), Loren Pope, Nick Pope, Zachary Pope and Sophie Pope; and his sisters, Dalene Blanford and Kris Harper. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gaines United Methodist Church, 117 W. Clinton St, Gaines, MI 48436.
