He was predeceased by : his parents, Christian Ehrlich and Lucille Ehrlich (Weiler); his parents-in-law, Earnest and Clara Seeley; and his brother-in-law Dennis Thick.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Ann Seeley; his son William John Ehrlich, Jr. (Camille) of Cass City; his grandson Austin Coryell; and his siblings, Mary Lou Thick of Gagetown and Richard Ehrlich (Jeannine) of Caseville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
