He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Nast and Martha Nast (Sbresny). He is survived by : his daughters, Peggy Turner (Greg) of Delta Junction and Patti Rogers of Gagetown, Michigan; his grandchildren, Zach Turner (Mary), Hilary Turner, Matthew Rogers, Justin Rogers and Nathan Rogers (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Arianna Rogers, Alexander, Gabriel Rogers, Olin Parker Wilson, Lars and Rose Turner; and his sister Joan Schiell of El Paso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Northwood Meadows or Compassus Hospice, Cass City, MI.
