She was predeceased by : her parents, Glen Shelly and Mildred Shelly (Kirby); and her husband Kenneth Matthews. She is survived by : her children, Curtis Harju of Diamondale and Cynthia Shivley (Michael) of Gagetown; her grandsons, Frank Abfalter, Cody Harju and Christopher Remsing; and her sisters, Judy Flowers, Barb Milson (Ron) and Nancy Myers (late Jim) of Lapeer. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
