He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Rockefeller and Mae Rockefeller (Nicholas); his son John D. Rockefeller, Jr.; his sister Dolores Rockefeller; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Bencheck and Janice McKellar.
He is survived by: his wife Sharyn; his daughters, Dedra Sherman (Dan) of Deford, Annette Prich (Larry) of Sebewaing and Charla Beuthin (Dan) of Unionville; his grandchildren, Danny Sherman (Mandy), Josh Sherman (Kristin), Nashia Ondrajka (David), Devin Prich, Lacie Prich, Trever Wichert (Mary Kaye) and Brendan Wichert; his brother Gary Rockefeller (Mary Ellen) of Gagetown; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Fritz, Jr. (Mary), Van Fritz (Suzanne), Lonnie Fritz, Gary McKellar and Marcia Kundinger. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
