He is survived by: his sister Cindy Mellendorf (Tom); his nephews, Chad Mellendorf (Evelyn) and Shane Mellendorf (Kristina); his niece Sid Bencheck; his great-nephew Owen Mellendorf; his great-niece Addison Mellendorf; and his sister-in-law Kelly Thompson (Larry).
