He is survived by: his wife Carole Pelkey; his sons, Brian Benda (Wendy) of Iron River, MI and Jeffrey Benda (Tammy) of Champion, MI; his sister Virginia Spigarelli of Iron Mountain, MI; his grandchildren, Casey, Melissa, Nikki, Nicholas and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Aaron, Trey, Tori, Harlie, Gracyn, Preslie and Avalyn; and his pet Roxi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
