It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas R Byas (Vicksburg, Michigan), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Byas and Margaret Byas; and his siblings, Ron Byas and Sue Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Tamela Campbell (Brian) of Portage and James Byas (Michelle Stickley) of Scotts; his grandchildren, Richard Campbell (Elise), Branda Backoff (James), Kaitlyn Byas and Courtney Byas; and his great grandchildren, Brynn Backoff, Rowan Campbell and Teigan Campbell.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home and Cremation Society (409 S Main St, Vicksburg, MI 49097).
In remembering Douglas R. Byas, we celebrate not only his contributions to his profession and community but also the love and laughter he brought to his family and friends.
