He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Beauvais Stark. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hoffman; his children, Steven Hoffman (Leslie), Charles Hoffman (Chad) and Ann Lancaster (Wes); his grandchildren, Dylan Lancaster (Shelby), Lindsay Marsrow (Cam), Michael Hoffman, Caroline Lancaster and Natalie Hoffman; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Usmial (Carol), John Usmial (Barbara) and Barbara Hoffman. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the Muskegon Big Red Athletic Foundation.
