Hope Davis Obituary
Hope Davis, age 39 of Fruitport, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at home. She was born on January 22, 1981 in Grand Haven, MI to John Geldersma and the late Elaine (Jeske) Geldersma. Hope graduated from Grand Haven High School and worked at Knoll Inc. for the last 13 years, doing production inventory control, quality control, and working in many other parts of the shop.
Time spent with her daughters and grandbabies was time well spent. Hope was very family oriented and cherished every moment, always capturing pictures and videos. She enjoyed the outdoors, bowling, singing with her girls, and keeping track of the Chicago Bears NFL team. She will be missed by many. Hope is lovingly remembered by her significant other, Jacques Mitchell; her five daughters, Mila Geldersma of Muskegon, Destinee Davis of Grand Haven, Ivy Davis of Spring Lake, Honestee Davis of Grand Haven, and Carlitta Villalpando of Fruitport; several grandchildren; her father, John (Mary) Geldersma; father-in-law, Norman Davis; sisters, Johnni-Louise Geldersma and Malaine Geldersma Zager; step-sisters, Kelli (P.J.) Paulson and Jennifer Cole; step-brother, Richard Hilderbrand; father of her children, Adam Davis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine (Jeske) Geldersma; her grandparents; and two uncles, Gerald and Andrew Geldersma. A Celebration of Hope's Life will be held and announced at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
