He was predeceased by: his parents, E. William Nixon and Lenora Nixon (Woodring). He is survived by: his sisters, Carole Cramer (Jim), Kathy Teusink (Jim) and Lori Kirchenbauer (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
